San Diego Travel Guide: Best Coffee Shops
Today I am bringing you some of my favorite coffee spots in San Diego.
I would imagine that this concept will need more than one post in order to do it justice.
Seeing as I am only one person, and there are so many beautiful little coffee shops here, let's just say this is going to be post number one. These are listed in no particular order, and are all places I have personally been to and I can attest to their greatness.
1. Communal Coffee
Their cold brew. Gave. Me. Life. Not to mention, the atmosphere itself is worth a trip. If you have even a speck of love for a good, trendy, coffee place, you've got to go. Take the embarrassing Instagram photo in front of the "Coffee and Flowers" sign or you didn't go. (Kidding - I went by myself when I went & was too cracked out on caffeine to remember to have someone take my picture, oops. Bad blogger alert.)
2. Lofty Coffee
Go to the location in Downtown. Get their almond milk mocha (hot) and do not get it "to go". Snag yourself a patio seat (its all patio seating) and take in the city vibes. You'll be right in Little Italy, and let me tell you, it is wonderful.
3. Konos Coffee
Speaking of atmosphere - Konos is nothing but. Located right next to Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, this coffee spot gives you your morning fix with a side of ocean views. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped by for a coffee and walked right down to the beach or to the pier. Their Nutty Latte is delicious, & their cold brew is amazing too!
4. Better Buzz
I know some people who will protest me including this place (as it is a bigger chain), but for Arizonians' sake, it needs to be said. There's multiple locations in Pacific Beach, but go to the one on Everts and Garnet. Get the OG Acai Bowl and an iced "Best Drink Ever". Be 'basic' for the hour that you're there and don't care. Everyone there is being basic with you. And there will be a lot of people there.
If you find yourself at any of these places, tag me in your pictures on Instagram!! Better yet, let me know you're in town and let's grab a cup together!
