Cozy, Cloudy Days

Hi there! Welcome, 2017!!

I am so excited to welcome in the New Year. This year has so many amazing things in store, I am so excited to make the most of it. No matter what 2016 brought to your life, use it to allow yourself to grow. Apply the lessons you've learned and go into this year with a fresh attitude and outlook!

In reflection of this last year, I made a point of going with the flow at the very beginning. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted the other day about going along with the ride (find this post here). Life really does have an amazing way of taking you right where you need to be. I hope to take that outlook into this year, as it lead me to opportunities I never knew existed.

Okay though - this Arizona weather has been so bipolar lately!! One day its 70 degrees and sunny, the next it is cloudy and 50! I definitely prefer the later of the two.

This winter, in fact, every winter I am all about cozy knit sweaters. This heather gray one was a gift this Christmas, and I've already worn it multiple times! This, however, is my favorite way to wear it. I am definitely one to like getting all dressed up, but keeping it simple and comfortable is also a huge part of my style. When I first bought my Keds about a year ago, I was a bit hesitant as I had never had a pair before. They honestly are the most comfortable shoes!! I wear them all the time, and I plan to get another pair once they need to be replaced.

Obviously, this bag hasn't left my side since I bought it. And its UNDER $30! Can I buy 10 of them so I have it forever?

To my fellow coffee addicts - what's your Starbucks order right now? With so many holiday drink options, I'd love to know which is your favorite. My go-to is the Skinny Peppermint Mocha. At 160 calories and 13g of sugar (compared to 440 calories and 54g of sugar for the regular Peppermint Mocha), I definitely feel a little less bad about it especially when I know I'm going to be pigging out on other holiday treats!

Have a great week, everyone!
