We had the first day of fall the other day, and let me tell you – I have not been this excited for fall in so long. Here comes an unpopular opinion… I don’t really like pumpkin flavored foods/drinks. Yep. That’s a no to the pumpkin spice lattes.
BUT, there are a lot of things that I am excited for in the coming months, here are a few:
Give me all the sweaters, cardigans, and warm, cozy outfits. The weather here in San Diego has been a little cooler this last week or so, so naturally I have been wearing sweaters at every opportunity. This cardigan from SheIn has made a few appearances and is quickly becoming one of my favorites! If you haven’t checked out SheIn yet, I definitely recommend it for affordable fashion, as this cardigan is only $22! Just be sure to read the reviews before purchasing an item, in order to make sure you order the correct size.
CRSSD (pronounced like ‘Crossed’) is a music festival that is held every year here in San Diego and this year I will be attending! It is coming up this weekend and (for once) I already have all my outfits picked out – we all know that’s the most important part 😉 Stay tuned for some festival outfit inspiration, and if you don’t already, follow me on Instagram and subscribe to post updates in the sidebar of this page so you don’t miss it when its posted!
The Pumpkin Patch
Maybe its this sudden feeling of adulthood or being far from home, but I am craving old family traditions like nobody’s business lately. We used to go to the pumpkin patch every year, and I just loved it as a kid. This year, I want nothing more than to get lost in a corn maze while stuffing my face with funnel cake all while frolicking around in a sweater and some boots. Anyone with me on this?
Okay, so when it comes to ‘basic’ coffee orders… No, I don’t order the pumpkin spice latte, but I am a huge lover in other holiday-inspired drinks. Hot skinny peppermint mochas are life. Christmas in a cup. The drink of the season. Magic. However you like to describe it, they’re amazing and I can’t wait to be able to justify ordering them again (since you just really can’t in the middle of summer in San Diego).
What are you excited about for fall this year? Let me know!
