Influenster sent me a little package full of products, all for free, for testing purposes in exchange for my honest reviews. Inside this one, I received:
The last four items on the list, the ones that are bolded, are products I would 100% go out and buy for myself after trying them. While the Welch’s Fruit Rolls were definitely tasty, I don’t find myself indulging in this kind of snack very often. I did try out the Eva NYC Mane Magic a few times, and it honestly just didn’t do it for me like my go-to hair product does!
I did love the majority of this box, so I am going to share more detailed reviews of the products I did love.
COVERGIRL Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation – $10
This foundation does a really great job of evening out my skin tone and covering blemishes without looking cakey. It also contains SPF, which the other kind I was using before did not have, so lucky me! It goes on feeling light and I can easily blend my bronzer and blush into it for a really natural look. Definitely recommend if you are needing a lower-cost, higher-quality foundation! I have been using it every day since I received it.
ALOHA Protein Bars – $2.50
Ohhh baby this bar was a good one! I am pretty picky about protein bars, but this one was such a treat. It wasn’t overly sweetened, which I find to be a bit hard to find these days. I had the PB & J flavor, and it most definitely did not disappoint!
Vera Wang Embrace Perfume – $29
I was sent two different scents from this collection, the first being “Periwinkle and Iris” and the second being “Rosebuds and Vanilla”. I have been on the hunt for my own signature perfume scent, and the later of the two is definitely it! “Rosebuds and Vanilla” is a sweet and soft scent with that touch of vanilla, and it totally fits my personality. I have really enjoyed wearing it, and will definitely be buying a bottle once I run out of the sample (which by the looks of things, will be very soon)!
Evolution Fresh Cold Pressed Sweet Greens and Lemon Juice – $4.99
I hadn’t had cold pressed juice in a long time, nor had I tried this brand before, so the first sip of this was not what I was expecting (it tasted very healthy, let’s just say). But once I got started, the flavors really started to grow on me! It tasted fresh and sweet, and made me feel more awake naturally. Will I be giving up coffee? Heck n0, but this was definitely a tasty pick-me-up that just so happens to contain lots of fruits and veggies!
If you encounter these products in the store or are in need of some beauty product/snack refreshing, you can go ahead and give them a try knowing you are in good hands!
Have you tried any of these products before? What are your thoughts? Any you’re planning on trying? Let me know in the comments!
Guilty confession: I started re-watching Gossip Girl again (like I don’t have a million better things to be doing). Anyone else succumb to the temptation of binge-watching GG or other old show reruns?
